To achieve this, Ampeg packed a ton of tone-sculpting into its 2U chassis. In addition to Ampeg’s classic 5-position Midrange control, which allows you to dial in the center frequency of the peaking midrange filter, there’s shelving bass and treble filters, and—if that weren’t enough—nine bands of carefully chosen graphic EQ. You can even use the graphic EQ as a “second channel,” making an alternate sound as easy as a tap on a footswitch.
